San Marcos Concrete & Masonry started in 2016 with a straightforward idea: San Marcos homeowners deserved a masonry contractor who would show up, tell the truth about what needed to be done, and do the work right. The city was growing fast back then - new subdivisions were going up on the hillsides, and older neighborhoods near Discovery Lake were starting to see their original foundations and brick work show their age.
The team has been working in San Marcos and the surrounding North County communities ever since. They know the soil conditions in the inland valleys, the permit requirements at the City of San Marcos building department, and the particular challenges that come with the local climate - hot, dry summers followed by concentrated winter rain that tests any masonry work that was not done properly.
